YISE YOUTH ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Youth Minyan will start at 9:15am in the small side of the Social Hall. The Youth Minyan Kiddush this week is sponsored by the Rosenthal family in honor of Tova`s Hebrew birthday

Groups will meet this Shabbos from 10am until 11:15am. 1st – 4th grade girls meet upstairs in the small Beis Medrash; 1st – 4th grade boys at the Yeshiva (meet in the YISE downstairs lobby at 10am to walk across); 2 – 5 year olds meet in the large Youth room behind the balcony. Pick up the 2-5 year olds in the large Youth room and the 1st-4th graders in the small Youth room.

Ice Cream Party! Children of all ages are invited to an special milchig Ice Cream Party on the 2nd day of Shavuos, May 20, from 4 to 5 pm. Come join us for delicious treats and lots of fun in the small side of the Social Hall! For more information email scottmiller@yise.org.

Torah, Tefillah, and Tofutti is back! All families are invited to join us in the Arcola Social Hall on Shabbos, Parshas Beha`aloscha, May 29, 4 to 5 pm, for family chevrusah-style learning, inspiring discussions, and parve ice cream, followed by early Mincha. Rabbi Rosenbaum`s Shiur for 6th – 8th grade boys meets this Shabbos 1 hour before Mincha.

WEEKDAY SHIURIM

Rabbi Rosenbaum will be giving a shiur in Pirkei Avos for women from 8:00pm to 9:00pm, in the large side of the Social Hall, on Tuesday nights during Sefira.

The Wednesday morning class previously taught by Rabbi Anemer, z"l, will now be conducted by Rabbi Zev Katz at 11am in the small Beis Medrash.

The Wednesday evening Advanced Men`s Gemara shiur previously taught by Rabbi Anemer, z"l, will now be conducted by Rabbi Moshe Arzouan, Wednesday nights following maariv at University Blvd.

Rabbi Rosenbaum`s Sunday night shiur for men in Mishna Brurah meets at his home. For more information contact jobstfeld@yise.org.

The YISE community is invited to the University Blvd. Shul after Maariv, Sunday, May 9, for the annual commemoration of the yahrzeit of Reuven Fishman, z"l. Reuven, an idealistic Ba`al Teshuva who befriended our community, was murdered by Arab terrorists in Jerusalem in 1978. Mishnayos will be learned and light refreshments served.
