Condolences to:

Sima Gakner and family on the loss of her father, Avraham Dagmi, just before last Shabbos in Israel. The funeral was in Israel. Sima got up from Shiva this morning (Friday).

The 2nd half of the Special Membership Meeting for the election of the YISE Rabbi will take place July 27, from 7:00pm to 8:45pm in the Belonofsky Sanctuary. The time to vote has been extended to 8:45pm to allow more time, especially for parents with young children. This is a continuation of the 7/21 vote. If you voted on 7/21 you may not vote again on 7/27. Please note that only full members may vote and must have paid at least 50% of last year`s dues to be in good standing.

YISE YOUTH ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Youth Minyan will start at 9:15am in the small side of the Social Hall.

Summer groups for children ages 2-5 are in the youth rooms upstairs, and will run from 10 – 11:15. Groups for 1st- 4th grade will resume after the summer.

Rabbi Rosenbaum`s Shiur for 6th – 8th grade boys will not meet this Shabbos.

WEEKDAY SHIURIM

Rabbi Zev Katz`s Wednesday morning YISE Chumash class, previously taught by Rabbi Anemer, meets Wednesdays at 11:00 am. in the Small Beis Medrash.

The Wednesday evening Advanced Men`s Gemara shiur previously taught by Rabbi Anemer, z"l, is now conducted by Rabbi Moshe Arzouan, following Maariv at University Blvd.

Rabbi Rosenbaum`s Sunday night shiur for men in Mishna Brurah meets at his home. For more information contact jobstfeld@yise.org.

Rabbi Rosenbaum`s Wednesday night Women`s shiur meets at 8pm on the small side of the Arcola Social Hall.

A review series of Hashkafos and Halachos of Taharas Mishpachah for married women: July 27, 8:00 pm, small side of the Social Hall. Presenters: Rabbi Dovid & Atara Rosenbaum.

A review class of Hashkafos and Halachos of Taharas Mishpachah for Men will be conducted by Rabbi Rosenbaum Tuesday evening, Aug 3, at 8pm in the small Social Hall. It will be preceded by Mincha at 7:45pm.

The HaShomer New Years Greeting deadline has been extended to Friday, July 30. Don`t forget to send your ad in right away!

It is Time to Start Cleaning the Shul for the New Year – All the coats, hats, Tallis & Tefillen bags, childrens` books and toys, umbrellas, etc., need to be taken home. Starting Wednesday, July 28, these materials will all be placed in a large box (or boxes) in the downstairs lobby for congregants to review. Those items still in the box on Wednesday, Aug. 11, will be donated to charitable organizations.

Women`s Daytime Tehillim Group – will resume meeting Tuesdays on August 17.

The Women`s Group studying "Practical Applications of the Chafetz Chaim & Insights of the Parsha through the Eyes of Rav Pam" will not meet this Shabbos.
