YISE YOUTH ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Youth Minyan will start at 9:15am in the small side of the Social Hall. The Youth Minyan Kiddush is sponsored by Kwiat family wishing Moshe Kwiat and the Class of 2010 Mazal Tov and a great year in Israel.

Summer groups for children ages 2-5 are in the youth rooms upstairs, and will run from 10 – 11:15. Groups for 1st- 4th grade will resume after summer.

Rabbi Rosenbaum`s Shiur for 6th – 8th grade boys will meet this Shabbos one hour before Mincha.

A review class of Hashkafos and Halachos of Taharas Mishpachah for Men will be conducted by Rabbi Rosenbaum Tuesday evening, Aug 3, at 8pm in the small Social Hall. It will be preceded by Mincha at 7:45pm.

The special meeting for election of a Rabbi for YISE has finished and the votes have been counted. Adam Bashein and Allison Lazar served as tellers.

The tellers` report is as follows:

Number of votes cast: 409
Necessary for election (60%): 246
Votes for Rabbi Dovid Rosenbaum: 379
Votes for No Candidate at this time: 29
Illegal Votes
Write-in marked "Abstain": 1

Rabbi Dovid Rosenbaum has been elected as Rabbi with 92% of the votes cast, which is more thanthe 60% required by the YISE Constitution.

The next step will be contract negotiations with Rabbi Rosenbaum. The Board approved a Rabbinic Contract Negotiating Committee at the last Board Meeting.

The members of the Committee are Arnie Sherman (chair), David Hornestay and Manasseh Katz. The Committee will negotiate a contract with Rabbi Rosenbaum and submit it to the Board for approval.

Women`s Daytime Tehillim Group – will resume meeting Tuesdays on August 17.

The Women`s Group studying "Practical Applications of the Chafetz Chaim & Insights of the Parsha through the Eyes of Rav Pam" will not meet this Shabbos.

It is Time to Start Cleaning the Shul for the New Year – All the coats, hats, Tallis & Tefillen bags left laying around the Shul, childrens` books and toys, umbrellas, etc., need to be taken home. Starting Wednesday, July 28, these materials will all be placed in a large box (or boxes) in the downstairs lobby for congregants to review. Those items still in the box on Wednesday, Aug. 11, will be donated to charitable organizations.

The Banquet Committee for the next YISE Banquet is being formed. If you would like to join the fun and participate in a great activity to support our Shul, please contact:
