Safe Streets for Shabbos & Shavuos

Over the past several weeks, it seems that more and more drivers have ignored the "No Turn on Red" sign at Lamberton Drive and Arcola Avenue. Many drivers are turning right during the time between when the "No Turn" sign goes on and all traffic has stopped and they don't want to wait for the next green light. Other cars simply drive through the No Turn sign and turn right during the actual walk time period for pedestrians. As we approach the 3-day Shabbos/Yom Tov when many children and adults will be walking and crossing this busy intersection, please be extra careful and even wait a few seconds when the walk signal turns white to be sure there are no cars coming from someplace to cross in front of you.
