YISE YOUTH ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Youth Minyan will meet this Shabbos at 9:15am in the small Social Hall.

The Youth Minyan Kiddush this week is sponsored in memory of Mary S. Weisberg, Solomon C. Katzoff, and Robert L. Gluckstern by Judy & Stuart Rosenthal and Jeremy and Tova Rosenthal.

YISE Shabbos groups 2 – 5 year-olds meet in the youth room behind the balcony; Girls 1st – 4th grade meet in the Small Beis Medrash; Boys 1st – 4th grade gather outside the Social Hall and walk over to the Yeshiva. Groups are from 10am – 11:15am. Please pick your child(ren) up promptly.

The YISE Annual Chanukah Party Celebration is Sunday, Dec. 25, 10am – 2pm. Activities for Preschool and young elementary ages includes: Cool arts and crafts! Special projects! Doughnut decorating! Rabbi Rosenbaum's mussar (spiritual self-improvement) study group for women based on the work "Alei Shur" by Rav Wolbe, will not meet this Sunday.

Rabbi Rosenbaum's Men's Gemara shiur meets Tuesday & Friday mornings, Arcola Social Hall, 6:00-6:45am. The shiur covers Gemara, Rashi, and Tosfos with a look at practical halachic conclusions drawn from the sugyos. For information contact Aaron Branda at ambranda@gmail.com or Rabbi Rosenbaum.

Rabbi Rosenbaum's NEW shiur in Tehillim meets Wednesday morning at 11 am in the Arcola Beis Medrash.

Rabbi Rosenbaum's Chumash shiur for women meets Wednesdays at 8pm in the Arcola Beis Medrash.

YISE Community Invited to Seudah Shlishit/Siyum This Shabbos

YISE's "Rotating Rebbe shiur" plans to finish Masechet Ta'anit this Shabbos. The community is warmly invited to celebrate with us at Seudah Shlishit in the Arcola Social Hall after Minchah.

Each week a different participant teaches the rest of the shiur. Besides the diversity of backgrounds and teaching styles, it offers the benefit of particularly effective learning due to the pressure of being "Rebbe" every two months or so. All men are welcome to join the weekly shiur next Shabbos, Dec. 24, when we begin Masechet Kiddushin, in the Yeshiva after the 8:00 AM kiddush.
