Rabbi Rosenbaum's mussar (spiritual self-improvement) study group for women, based on "Alei Shur" by Rav Wolbe, meets Sunday mornings at 9:30am in the Belonofsky Sanctuary.

Beis Medrash Zichron Gedaliah- 8-9pm Tuesday, small side Arcola Social Hall. A joint program of YISE/Kollel Zichron Amram. The program offers shiurim in beginners and advanced gemara, and also in Machshava (currently learning Chovos Halevavos).Also, one on one chavrusas are available and can be arranged for those who are interested. The sessions between now and Pesach will focus on the Pesach Haggadah with the commentary of the "Maaseh Nissim."

Second Annual Siyum Tanach

The second yahrzeit of Rav Anemer zt"l will be marked with our second annual siyum Tanach at Seudah Shlishit April 28, Shabbos Tazria-Metzorah, around the time of the Rav's yahrzeit (Rosh Chodesh Iyar). The Adult Education Committee has divided the Tanach into 133 sections, and you can sign up online at the www.yise.org, or call Bob Levi, 301-593-2399 to register for a particular section. Individuals, couples, families, or chavrusas can sign-up for one or more of the Tanach sections to study.

Don't delay! As of March 15, 60% of the slots have been spoken for.

Annual YISE/KMS Holocaust Memorial Program – Sunday, April 22, 7:30 pm at KMS.

Nine year old Bertha Schwarz and her 6 year old sister were placed on a bus in Vichy, France by their mother in the summer of 1942, in an attempt to send the girls to relative safety. Rabbi Zalman Shneerson, a Jewish rescuer who ran homes for Jewish orphans, found the girls and provided them with food and comfort. Learn more about Ms. Schwarz's heart-rending story at this year's Yom Hashoah program. Children grades 5 and older are encouraged to attend.

YISE YOUTH ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Youth Minyan will meet this Shabbos promptly at 9:15am in the small Social Hall.

YISE Shabbos groups 2 – 5 year-olds meet in the youth room behind the balcony; Girls 1st – 4th grade meet in the Small Beis Medrash; Boys 1st – 4th grade gather outside the Social Hall and walk over to the Yeshiva. Groups start at 10am and will end this week immediately following Rabbi Dr. Dovid Katz's speech. Please pick your child(ren) up promptly.
