YISE YOUTH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Purim Carnival! The YISE Youth Department presents our annual Purim Carnival Extravaganza, in the Arcola Social Hall, Motzei Shabbos, March 19. Join us for a family friendly Megillah reading, followed by games, treats, and prizes! To sponsor this program or volunteer to help, email youth@yise.org. More details to follow.
Youth Groups this Shabbos meet at 10am in all the regular places. Pick up the 2-5 year olds in the large Youth room and the 1st-4th graders in the small Youth room.
The Youth Minyan Kiddush is sponsored by the Youth Minyan Kiddush Group. Sushi Making for 6th-8th grade boys – Rescheduled to Motzei Shabbos, Feb. 26, 7:45pm. Rabbi Rosenbaum's Shiur for 6th-8th grade boys will meet this Shabbos 1 hour before Mincha.
The Carpet is Complete! Enjoy the new carpet installed in the Belonofsky Sanctuary. Work will start soon on tile for the lobby outside the Sanctuary.
Special thanks to Dave Kull and DNA Tree Service – DNA came by on Shabbos (with the approval of Rabbi Rosenbaum) to cut away broken branches from the tree in front of the Shul entrance. The cracked and broken branches were hanging over the sidewalk and were a danger to all pedestrians passing beneath. DNA's telephone number is 301-482-2626.

Mayor to Speak – Save the date! Tuesday night, March 1, 8pm -9:15 pm, Moshe Abutbul, Mayor of Beit Shemesh, will brief community members about his city. Everyone is invited to hear Mayor Abutbul in the YISE Arcola Beit Medrash.

A Shloshim for Rabbi Zecharya Mines, z"l, will take place, iy"h, on Saturday evening, March 12, at 9:00 p.m. in the Belonofsky Bais Medrash of the Yeshiva of Greater Washington. Rabbi Mines, a brother-in-law of Rabbi Anemer, z"l, was a greatly influential rebbi at the Yeshiva in its early years, and also was the Baal Musaf on Yamim Noraim at YISE for several years. This gathering is being planned for former talmidim and friends in the DC-Baltimore area, in addition to one on Thursday evening, March 10, in Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim in Queens, NY.
