YISE YOUTH ANNOUNCEMENTS

Youth Groups this Shabbos meet at 10am. 1st – 4th grade girls meet upstairs in the small Beis Medrash; 1st – 4th grade boys at the Yeshiva (meet in the YISE downstairs lobby at 10am); 2-5 year olds meet in the large Youth room behind the women`s balcony. Pick up the 2-5 year olds in the large Youth room and the 1st-4th graders in the small Youth room.

The Youth Minyan Kiddush is being sponsored by the Youth Minyan Kiddush Club.

Rabbi Rosenbaum`s Shiur for 6th-8th grade boys will meet this Shabbos 1 hour before Mincha.

MES Melava Malka Annual Meeting – The Mikvah Emunah Societ of Greater Washington will hold its annual meeting this Motzei Shabbos, Jan. 1, at 8:00pm at YISE. The guest speaker will be Rabbi Yaakov Bieler. There will be a slide presentation of the newly completed Mikvah, a vote on the new slate of Officers and Board, membership updates, and refreshments will be served.

Online Computer Courses – The OU offers online Beginners- and Intermediate-level courses in Dreamweaver, Excel, Photoshop, and Quickbooks, starting in January. Courses include six 90-minute sessions. $36 registration fee each; register at www.oujobs.org.

Save the date for the Parrot Rebbe – Sunday, Jan. 9, 10:30am -12 noon. The KMS Youth Department presents the Parrot Rebbe, an interactive show with dozens of parrots from all over the world. "A Taste of Tu b`Shevat" – It`s almost 2011, and we`re thinking about the (Jewish) New Year (of the Trees).
