DEMOLITION/CONSTRUCTION HAS BEGUN

M&O Extreriors has begun placing the scaffolding around the Arcola building necessary to remove the shingles of the old exterior. Once the demolition of the old exterior is complete the new surface, like that of the back building, will be installed. Projected completion of the project is late July to mid-August. We ask your patience as the project proceeds.

Please caution your children against climbing on the scaffolding! It may look like a jungle gym to them, but it is not. It is construction equipment on a construction site and it can be dangerous. Please don’t let your children roam unsupervised during this project. Please stay away from areas marked with yellow CAUTION tape.

UNIVERSITY IMPROVEMENTS BEGIN MONDAY

Astoria Contracting will begin power-washing and preparing the buildings at University Blvd. for painting on Monday. The project will take place between the end of the Nursery session and beginning of camp. Weather permitting, it will be completed by the end of the week.
