YISE YOUTH ANNOUNCEMENTS
Youth Groups this Shabbos meet at 10am. 1st – 4th grade girls meet upstairs in the small Beis Medrash; 1st – 4th grade boys at the Yeshiva (meet in the YISE downstairs lobby at 10am); 2-5 year olds meet in the large Youth room behind the women`s balcony. Pick up the 2-5 year olds in the large Youth room and the 1st-4th graders in the small Youth room.
The Youth Minyan Kiddush is being sponsored by the Youth Minyan Kiddush Club.
Rabbi Rosenbaum`s Shiur for 6th-8th grade boys will not meet this Shabbos.
NEW DATE The next Dor L`Dor will be on Motzei Shabbos, January 8, 7:00pm. Please note the date change. Rabbi Moshe Arzouan`s Wednesday evening Advanced Men`s Gemara shiur, previously taught by Rabbi Anemer, z"l, meets at 7:30pm, after Maariv at University Blvd.

NEW DATE Visiting the Sick the Jewish Way -Learn the proper way to perform the special Mitzvah of Bikkur Cholim! In conjunction with YISE Adult Education Committee, GWCK invites the community to "Visiting the Sick the Jewish Way," a lecture by Rabbi Yosef Singer, Rabbi of YIEIP. MES Annual Meeting – The Mikvah Emunah Society of Greater Washington will hold its annual meeting on Motzei Shabbos Jan. 1, 8pm at YISE. The guest speaker will be Rabbi Yaakov Bieler. All are invited to attend.

"A Taste of Tu b`Shevat" – It`s almost 2011, and we`re thinking about the (Jewish) New Year (of the Trees). Join Silver Spring`s Kayamut/Sustainability Circle Jan. 10, 8 pm, at the Silver Spring Jewish Center to get into the spirit of Tu b`Shevat with Torah learning, fruits of the holiday and environmental lessons. This event is nutritious and free of charge.

Yad Ezra V`Shulamit-feeding Israel`s needy- is in really tight times now, especially with the recent forest fire in Israel. Ariel-Sara Gerowitz is trying to raise funds in America to support this work.
