Save the Date: Women's Seudah Shlishit – August 4

Ladies, join us for the YISE Sisterhood-sponsored Summer Women‘s Seudah Shlishit on Shabbos Nachamu afternoon, August 4, 5pm-7pm, in the YISE Arcola Social Hall. The theme of the seudah is "Summer Fun." Attendees will enjoy pareve summery fare while meeting and mingling with other women from the community. A summer-themed Dvar Torah by Rene Isser will follow. Summer desserts and drinks will conclude the program. All women are welcome and encouraged to attend! (We respectfully request no children under the age of 12 years old.) Sponsorships are welcome at $18 (or more). WEEKDAY SHIURIM

Rabbi Rosenbaum's mussar (spiritual self-improvement) study group for women, based on "Alei Shur" by Rav Wolbe, resumes Sunday, August 5, at 9:30am.

Rabbi Rosenbaum's Mishna Brurah shiur for men takes place Sundays, 8:30pm, at his home. For more information contact jobstfeld@yise.org.

Rabbi Rosenbaum's Men's Gemara shiur meets in the Arcola Social Hall, 6:00-6:45am Tuesdays & Fridays.

Rabbi Rosenbaum's Wednesday morning Tehillim shiur meets at 11am in the Arcola Social Hall.

Rabbi Rosenbaum's Chumash shiur for women meets at 8pm, Wednesday nights, in the small Beis Medrash.

Rabbi Moshe Arzouan's advanced Gemara shiur for men, Wednesday nights at University Blvd., will be suspended till mid-to-end of August. We will then begin learning a new Mesechta – Kesubos.

Zichron Gedaliah Bais Medrash for Men will resume Tuesday, August 28.

Classes and programs with the Greater Washington Community Kollel will be on hiatus until Elul Semester. This includes Linas Hatzedek (Sunday mornings) and Yesodei Hatorah (Thursday evenings).

SHABBOS SHIURIM

R' Pinchas Werner – Shiur 8:15am, in the small Youth Room behind the Women's Balcony.

Rabbi David Hyatt – Gemara Shiur meets in the small Beis Medrash after Hashkamah Minyan.

Rabbi Moshe Arzouan's advanced Gemara shiur for men is on summer break. The shiur will resume in late August starting Mesechta Kesubos.

Rabbi William Millen – Shiur will not meet this Shabbos.

Rabbi Yehoshua Levy – Shiur 1 hour before the Sephardi Mincha.

Rabbi Amram Hes – Parsha shiur will not meet this Shabbos.

Mrs. Yocheved Arzouan – Shiur 9am in small Youth Room behind the Women's Balcony.

Rebbetzin Atara Rosenbaum – Women's shiur will not meet this Shabbos.

DEMOLITION/CONSTRUCTION CONTINUES

Reminder: The scaffolding now reaches to the patio area and the glass doors on the far side of the Social Hall. Please caution your children against climbing on it! Don't let your children roam unsupervised during this project. Please stay away from areas marked with yellow CAUTION tape.

YISE YOUTH ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Youth Minyan will meet promptly at 9:15am in the small social hall.

YISE Shabbos groups – For the summer, Shabbos Youth Groups will be only for 2 – 5 yearold children. Groups for Grades 1 – 4 Boys and Girls resume in the fall. 2 – 5 year-olds meet in the youth room behind the balcony from 10am – 11:15am.

The Youth Group Kiddush is sponsored by the Youth Minyan Kiddush Group.

The YISE Youth Department invites kids age pre-school to fourth grade for hands on Tisha B'Av activities. Join us on the small side of the social hall from 2pm-4pm on Tisha B'Av Sunday. For Kids 9-14 a video will be shown around 4:30pm in the same location.
