To continue offering the best Kiddushes in Metro DC…
YISE offers more and better Kiddushes than most synagogues anywhere! This kind of effort, week after week, is really special, and the volunteers who come to the kitchen are all to be commended. However, we see mostly the same people Shabbos after Shabbos. Preparing food, setting up tables, cleaning up after a kiddush, coming in after Shabbos to clean the cholent pots & utensils- all of this is necessary.
For our Kiddush structure to continue we need an infusion of new volunteers to help setup/takedown/cleaning. Interested members should contact Kiddush cochairs Josh Breitstein (jbreitstein@yise.org) or Barbara Price (barbaraprice@yise.org)
8 AM Minyan Chevra Kiddush
Stuart Cohen is trying to assemble an email list of all contributing members of the 8 AM Chevra. Please email him at stuart@ets-md.com.
