The YISE and KMS Holocaust Committee is looking for students grades 8 through 12 who are interested in joining the Holocaust youth subcommittee to assist with programming for this year's annual Yom Hashoa program. Lost and Found at YISE – The items of clothing in the YISE lost and found are currently in the lower lobby coat room. They will remain there for pickup until Monday, Feb. 6. After that time they will be donated to a charitable organization.

YISE YOUTH ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Youth Minyan will meet this Shabbos at 9:15am in the small Social Hall.

This week's Youth Minyan Kiddush is sponsored by the Rosenthal family, on the yahrtzeits of Evelyn W. and Robert D. Katzoff.

YISE Shabbos groups 2 – 5 year-olds meet in the youth room behind the balcony; Girls 1st – 4th grade meet in the Small Beis Medrash; Boys 1st – 4th grade gather outside the Social Hall and walk over to the Yeshiva. Groups are from 10am – 11:15am. Please pick your child(ren) up promptly.

WEEKDAY SHIURIM

Rabbi Rosenbaum's mussar (spiritual self-improvement) study group for women, based on the work "Alei Shur" by Rav Wolbe, will meet at 9:30am, this Sunday.

Rabbi Rosenbaum's Mishna Brurah shiur for men meets Sunday night, 8:30pm, at his home. For more information contact jobstfeld@yise.org.

Rabbi Rosenbaum's Men's Gemara shiur meets Tuesday & Friday mornings, Arcola Social Hall, 6:00-6:45am. The shiur covers Gemara, Rashi, and Tosfos with a look at practical halachic conclusions drawn from the sugyos. For information contact Aaron Branda at ambranda@gmail.com or Rabbi Rosenbaum.

Celebrate Tu b'Shevat, the Jewish ‘New Year of the Trees.' Tuesday, Feb. 7, bring your friends and family to a holiday dinner and Tu b'Shevat seder sponsored by the Kayamut/ Sustainability Circle and hosted by the Kosher Pastry Oven. A four course dinner begins at 6:30 pm. The seder – complete with Torah learning, fruits of the holiday and environmental information – starts at 8:00 pm. Dinner, including tax and tips, is $25 for adults/teens and just $12 for children. The seder is $5 per adult/teen (no children, please).
