YISE Youth Announcements

The Youth Minyan will not meet this Shabbos.

The Youth Minyan will meet all the Yom Tov days of Pesach and Shabbos Chol Hamoed at 9:15 AM sharp.

Please join us this Shabbos and on Shabbos Chol Hamoed Pesach for groups. Groups will NOT meet on the 1st and 2nd days of Pesach.

On the 7th and 8th days of Pesach there will groups for 2-5 year-olds ONLY: 2-5 year-olds meet in the youth room behind the balcony; Girls 1st-4th grade gather in the main lobby and Boys 1st-4th grade gather outside the Social Hall and walk to the Yeshiva. Groups run 10 AM-11:15 AM. On the 8th day of Pesach, groups will run until 11:30 AM (for Yizkor). Please pick up child(ren) promptly.

Ruach Minyan – Friday, April 11, at 7:00 in the Arcola Social Hall.

The Fourth Annual Siyum Tanach in Memory of Rav Anemer ZT"L will be held at a Shalosh Seudos on Shabbos, April 26, Parshas Kedoshim. Annual Yom Hashoah Program – Monday, April 28, 7:30 PM at KMS. The featured speaker is Mr. Leon Merrick, a long time resident of Kemp Mill who survived the Lodz Ghetto, forced labor and concentration camps during the Holocaust. Children grade 5 and older are encouraged to attend. Special Mincha at 7:10. Maariv will follow the program.

Announcing a New Halacha Shiur for Women – Rabbi Rosenbaum is starting a monthly women’s Halacha Shiur. The first one will be May 4 at 8:30 PM at the home of Bayla Goodman, 11527 Monticello Ave. The topic will be warming food on Shabbos.

Youth Activities Coordinator Job Opportunity – This position coordinates 10-12 youth events throughout the year. S/he works closely with the Youth Committee and Rabbinic staff and must possess excellent organizational, interpersonal and leadership skills. Flexible hours. Teaching experience preferable. Pesach Preparations – YISE and Beyond

Bedikas Chametz – There will be a Bedikas Chametz in the Shul Sunday evening. Please make their job easier by removing any personal Chometz from your Talis boxes, back-of-the bench and seat areas where Chometz may be lurking. Also, please remove large clothing and other items from the lobby shelving areas, so they can be quickly inspected for the presence of Chometz. Your effort will enable us to perform the Bedika effectively and quickly.
