Application for Membership

To apply for membership to Young Israel Shomrai Emunah please complete the membership form and submit it along with the necessary payment to the shul. All applicants are required to complete the “Confidential” form before membership can be considered. This form will be seen by the Rabbi only. If you have any questions regarding this form, please contact Rabbi Rosenbaum at (301) 681-3988. Any other questions may be addressed to the office or the Shul President. Once completed, applications may be delivered to the YISE office or emailed to Simi Franco in the YISE office at simi@yise.org.

Membership Categories and Rates

New! Under 30 membership now available. For new single members under 30 or for a new couple where at least one of the two people is under 30 years of age, the membership cost will be:

• First year – $200
• Second year – $300
• Third year – $400
• Fourth year – $540
• Fifth year – $750 This rate will continue until a single member or both members of a couple reach the age of 30.

* This will not entitle new members to the preschool discount.

Full Rights and Privileges – Discounts (on nursery school, HH seats, rentals, simchas); voting rights.
Full Membership	$1,220.00	Includes immediate family.
Senior	$945.00	Over 65. (must be requested)
Single	$945.00	Includes immediate family.
Young Member	$750.00	For new young members, see above.
Over 80	$490.00	(must be requested)
Associate Membership	$720.00	Requires full membership at other area orthodox Synagogue. Limited Rights and Privileges.
Friends of YISE	$140.00	Lives out of town but stays connected with community. Limited Rights and Privileges.
Other		Special category at the discretion of the president.
Building Fund:	$400.00	Per year for years 2 through 6; total $2,000
