No Business Like Shul Business…

Missing – A talis bag with tefillin belonging to Rabbi Yossi Berger was misplaced this week at the Mond bris at YISE. If you know where the bag is, please call 301-537-7158.

The following names were inadvertently left off the Sponsors` List for the Graduates Kiddush last week: Gila & Rabbi Myron Wakschlag and Yahaloma & Aryeh Schnapp. We apologize for the error.

YISE has the nicest Kiddushes, on a regular basis, of any Shul in the Metro DC area, but we need volunteers to help clean up after! Call Alan at the Shul office, 301-593-4465, ext. 401.

The Coat Room / Coat Racks are not for long-term storage – Members are leaving coats, sweaters, etc., around the Shul. We don`t have room to keep them here. Please take home your clothes, books, bags, etc. by Monday, July 7. Items still in Shul then will be removed.

Nine is Not Enough – There have been evenings recently when getting a Minyan for Mincha/Maariv at University Blvd. has been difficult… and that is a major problem for daveners there who have to say Kaddish. If you have the time and are going to daven anyway, head for University Blvd. some evenings and help keep the Minyan going.

It`s your Shul – treat it like you would want your home treated!

Thank You from the YISE Sisterhood – Approximately 120 people attended the successful Sisterhood-sponsored Seudah Shlishit last Shabbos. The Sisterhood Board thanks the many volunteers who helped before, during, and after the event; the sponsors who helped offset the costs of this popular event; and especially the hard-working shul staff, particularly Esther Edeson and Alan Zimmerman, who went above and beyond their normal responsibilities to ensure the event`s success. Mark your calendar for the next Women`s Seudah Shlishit, scheduled for August 28!
