Daphne Lazar Price and family on the passing last week of her mother, Chaya Lea Lazar, z"l. The funeral took place in Israel and was followed by shiva in Toronto.

Shonny Kugler and Norma Burdett on the passing of their brother Sol Levinson. The funeral was held Friday morning at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Adelphi. Shiva will be observed at the home of Norma Burdett, 11720 Lovejoy Street through Thursday morning.

Arnie Sherman and family on the passing of his mother, Racie Sherman. The funeral took place Friday, in Woodbridge , NJ. Shiva will be observed at the Sherman home, 11710 Lovejoy Street, from Sunday morning through Thursday morning. Shacharis Sunday/Thursday 8:00am, Monday 6:45am, Tuesday/Wednesday 7:00am; Mincha/Maariv Sunday through Wednesday 4:30pm.

YISE YOUTH ANOUNCEMENTS

The Youth Minyan will not meet this week, Parshat Vayishlach, but will meet next Shabbos, Parshat Vayeishev.

Youth Groups will meet this Shabbos at 10am. 1st – 4th grade girls meet upstairs in the small Beis Medrash; 1st – 4th grade boys at the Yeshiva (meet in the YISE downstairs lobby at 10am to walk across); 2-5 year olds meet in the large Youth room behind the women`s balcony. Pick up the 2-5 year olds in the large Youth room and the 1st-4th graders in the small Youth room.

Rabbi Rosenbaum`s Shiur for 6th-8th grade boys meets 1 hour before Shabbos Mincha.

Join us for the Annual YISE Youth & Nursery School Chanukah Party and Gift Sale, Sunday, Nov. 21 at the YISE Nursery, 813 University Blvd., 1 to 4pm. Come get all your Chanukah gift shopping done while your pre-school and early-elementary aged children are busy with fun activities, including arts and crafts, exciting games and delicious refreshments. The cost is $5 per child with no admission fee for adults. This is a community-wide event.

Chanukah Family Game Night! Parents and children in grades 3-6 are invited to a fun evening of exciting games, cool prizes, and delicious treats. Rabbi Moshe Arzouan`s Wednesday evening Advanced Men`s Gemara shiur, previously taught by Rabbi Anemer, z"l, meets at 7:30pm, after Maariv at University Blvd.

Rabbi Rosenbaum has begun a new Gemara shiur for men, Tuesday and Friday mornings in the Arcola social hall from 6:00-6:45. The shiur will cover Gemara, Rashi, and Tosfos with a look at the practical halachic conclusions drawn from the sugyos. The Hakamas Hamatzeyvia (unveiling of tombstone) for Dr. Donal M. Billig, z"l, will be held Sunday, Nov. 21, at Mt Lebanon Cemetery, 9500 Riggs Rd., Adelphi, MD, at 11 am. Dr. Billig`s kever(grave) is located right off of the left side of the main entrance gate to the cemetery along the fence second row back and should be in clear sight upon arriving.
