Anyone needing to discuss an urgent matter with Rabbi Rosenbaum should contact a member of the office staff, who will notify him.
YISE YOUTH ANNOUNCEMENTS
The Youth Minyan will meet this Shabbos at 9:15am in the small Social Hall.
YISE Shabbos groups 2 – 5 year-olds meet in the youth room behind the balcony; Girls 1st – 4th grade meet in the Small Beis Medrash; Boys 1st – 4th grade gather outside the Social Hall and walk over to the Yeshiva. Groups are from 10am – 11:15am. Please pick your child(ren) up promptly.

Rabbi Rosenbaum's mussar (spiritual self-improvement) study group for women, based on the work "Alei Shur" by Rav Wolbe, will meet this Sunday.
Rabbi Rosenbaum's Mishna Brurah shiur for men meets Sunday night at his home. For more information contact jobstfeld@yise.org.
Rabbi Rosenbaum's Men's Gemara shiur meets Tuesday morning only this week (not Friday), Arcola Social Hall, 6:00-6:45am. Hey! This is my idea! The next installment of Rabbi Rosenbaum's Friday Night Oneg shuir has been postponed to Friday, Feb. 3, at the Lazar home, 1213 Arcola Ave. The shiur will address hilchos Ani Ha'mehapech B'chararah. Current topics revolve around business halachos. Refreshments provided by the host family.

On Monday, January 9 at 8 pm at SSJC, Erin Johnson, coordinator of the Sandy Spring CSA which serves Montgomery County, will explain how CSA works, why CSA is good for the environment, and how the farms and produce are selected. YISE Sisterhood is hosting an informative and fun presentation by Jennifer Reilly, Registered Dietician and author of Cooking with Trader Joe's Cookbook: Skinny Dish!, Motzai Shabbos, Jan. 7 at YISE Arcola, beginning at 8pm. Ms. Reilly will guide you through a discussion of healthy eating, prepare easy-to-make healthy dishes right before your eyes, and answer your nutrition questions. Participants will each get a taste of the delicious items prepared during the presentation. You'll leave the event with a better understanding of nutrition and with recipes to help you begin your journey to eating better. $10 with an RSVP and $12 at the door.
