Annual Yom HaShoah Program – Mr. Isaac Gendelman, who survived during the Holocaust in the woods near his town of Rokitno, Poland, will be this year's featured speaker. YISE Youth Announcements

The Youth Minyan will meet this Shabbos at 9:15 AM sharp, followed by a Kiddush sponsored by the Pepper Family as a Hoda'a to Hashem.

Please join us this week for groups: 2-5 year-olds meet in the youth room behind the balcony; Girls 1st-4th grade gather in the main lobby and Boys 1st-4th grade gather outside the Social Hall and walk to the Yeshiva. Groups run 10:00 AM – 11:15 AM. Please pick up child(ren) promptly.

Pesach Preparations – YISE and Beyond

Rabbi Rosenbaum's Pre-Pesach Halacha Review Shiur will be held on Monday, March 23, 8:00 PM in the Belonofsky Sanctuary.

YISE Shmurah Matzah Fundraiser – Handmade Shmurah Matzah, regular or whole wheat, will be available from Shatzer Bakery at $22 per pound. Order deadline is Wednesday, March 18. To order, send an e-mail to matzah@yise.org and include the number of pounds of regular and whole wheat. Matzah may be picked up Wednesday, March 25, and Thursday, March 26, from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM in the Arcola Social Hall. Online ordering at www.yise.org/matzah

Hachnosas Orchim – The Hospitality Committee is looking for volunteers to host people for Pesach (including the Sedarim). If you are willing to host, please contact the Hospitality Committee at hospitality@yise.org with how many people you can host and what meals. Additionally, if you need to be set up for a meal on Pesach, please contact the committee with the meal(s) you need.

Food Drive Meets Soaring Need – Our annual Food Drive goes from March 9 through March 30, benefiting over 500,000 people in our region struggling with hunger. Your donations, which go to the Capital Area Food Bank, also help Jewish individuals and families in our communities to fill their pantries through the Yehuda Mond Foundation, an authorized distributor of the Food Bank. YISE is taking part, along with many other synagogues in the area, and organizations such as our day schools, community centers, and apartment complexes. Please bring unopened and non-perishable cans and boxes of food to the container outside the Social Hall.
