Second Annual Siyum Tanach

The second yahrzeit of Rav Anemer zt"l will be marked with our second annual siyum Tanach at Seudah Shlishit April 28, Shabbos Tazria-Metzorah, around the time of the Rav's yahrzeit (Rosh Chodesh Iyar). The Adult Education Committee has divided the Tanach into 133 sections, and you can sign up online at the, or call Bob Levi, 301-593-2399 to register for a particular section. Individuals, couples, families, or chavrusas can sign-up for one or more of the Tanach sections to study.

Don't delay! As of March 15, 60% of the slots have been spoken for.

Annual YISE/KMS Holocaust Memorial Program – Sunday, April 22, 7:30 pm at KMS.

Nine year old Bertha Schwarz and her 6 year old sister were placed on a bus in Vichy, France by their mother in the summer of 1942, in an attempt to send the girls to relative safety. Rabbi Zalman Shneerson, a Jewish rescuer who ran homes for Jewish orphans, found the girls and provided them with food and comfort. Learn more about Ms. Schwarz's heart-rending story at this year's Yom Hashoah program. Children grades 5 and older are encouraged to attend.
