PURIM CARNIVAL! The YISE Youth Department invites the entire community to an exciting evening at our annual Family Purim Celebration and Carnival, which will take place in our Arcola Social Hall Motzei Shabbos, March 19. Ma'ariv and Megilla will begin promptly at 8:30pm with festivities to follow. Please join us for awesome carnival games, lots of cool prizes, cotton candy, popcorn, pizza, and LOTS of FUN!! Game, cotton candy and popcorn tickets will be sold for $0.50 each or $5 all-inclusive per child. Pizza will be sold separately for $2.50 per slice. New YISE Cholim List – Beginning Shabbos, March 19, we'll start using a new cholim list. Names must be given to Esther Edeson, 301-593-4465, ext. 402, or esther@yise.org, even if they are on the list already. The new list will be renewed bi-monthly, on the first and fifteenth. Names that should remain on the list must be submitted before then.

Pre-Pesach Chometz Food Drive – Starting March 22 and running through April 14, the Pesach Chometz food drive collects donations for the Capital Area Food Bank, which distributes food to needy individuals and families. YISE and a number of other shuls, day schools, community centers and apartment complexes are taking part. Your donations arevital and appreciated. Collection box in downstairs lobby at Arcola.

Trivia Night – The YISE Social Committee invites you to a fun night of general knowledge trivia in the Arcola Social Hall, Motzei Shabbos, March 26. Bring a team of 4-6 people to compete for great prizes and the title of "YISE Trivia Master." $5 per person. Contact Allison Lazar for questions alazar@yise.org.

The Youth Minyan Kiddush is sponsored by the Youth Minyan Kiddush Group.

Youth Groups this Shabbos meet at 10am in all the regular places. Pick up the 2-5 year olds
in the large Youth room and the 1st-4th graders in the small Youth room.

Rabbi Rosenbaum's Shiur for 6th-8th grade boys will meet this Shabbos 1 hour before Mincha.

Kids, Make sure to pick up your shaloch manot at Saturday night's Family Purim Celebration and Carnival. The bags were made and sponsored by the YISE Sisterhood.

4-year-old Girls' Shabbos Group will meet at the home of Nesya Levitt, 911 Brentwood Lane, from 4:00 – 5:30 pm.

3rd Grade Girls' Shabbos Group will meet at the home of Dalya Namrow, 6 Fulham Ct, from 4:30 – 6:00 pm.

10th Annual Purim Yahrzeit shiur in memory of Jane Axelrod (Raizel bas Simcha) on Purim, Sunday, March 20, 10:30am in the G Level Party Room at 1121 University Blvd W. (University Towers). Someone in the lobby will let you in the Arcola entrance if you arrive between 10:15 and 10:25. The shiur ends at 11:00.

Purim Fun and Chanukat HaBayit -Please join us for Purim fun and a Chanukat Habayit to celebrate the completion of the purchase of the MJBHA property, Sunday, March 20, 1-3 pm, MJBHA. Short program at 1:45pm. Carnival activities and treats provided by Cougar Camp. This program is free of charge and all ages are welcome.

Torah is Orah – Come learn on Purim morning at the Yeshiva, 10am – 11 am. Your Purim will be different and you will help your neighbor find their Bashert! The Yeshiva is offering, due to very generous sponsors, a stipend for learning for one hour without interruption, as a Zechus for Shidduchim for members of our community. There will be learning programs for all ages: (1) Father and son learning- learn and receive prizes; (2) Shiur for middle school boys – incentives for the first 25 boys to sign up; (3) Open bais medrash for men and high school boys – stipend for first 40 who sign up.

Using YISE Bulletin Boards – We only accept 8.5 x 11 flyers for our bulletin boards. They must be submitted to the office. Flyers placed up without office approval will be removed. We do not post flyers for programs occurring on the same date as a YISE program.

Please remember to say "Baruch Hamavdil Bein Kodesh L'Chol" after 7:59pm before starting to get ready for Purim. Also remember not to eat anything until after Havdalah is said after the Megillah reading.
