Second Annual Siyum Tanach

The second yahrzeit of Rav Anemer zt"l will be marked with our second annual Siyum Tanach at Seudah Shlishit April 28, Shabbos Tazria-Metzorah, around the time of the Rav's Yahrzeit (Rosh Chodesh Iyar). The Adult Education Committee has divided the Tanach into 133 sections, and you can sign up online at the www.yise.org, or call Bob Levi, 301-593-2399 to register for a particular section. Individuals, couples, families, or chavrusas can signup for one or more of the Tanach sections to study.

Don't delay! 89% of the slots have now been spoken for. Remaining: Yirmaya – 2 sections, Yechezkel – 3sections, Mishlei – 1 section, Iyov – 4 sections, Divrei Hayimim – 5 sections.

WEEKDAY SHIURIM

Rabbi Rosenbaum's mussar (spiritual self-improvement) study group for women, based on "Alei Shur" by Rav Wolbe, resumes April 22 at 9:30am in the Belonofsky Sanctuary.

Rabbi Rosenbaum's Mishna Brurah shiur for men meets Sunday night, 8:30pm, at his home. For more information contact jobstfeld@yise.org.

Rabbi Rosenbaum's Men's Gemara shiur will meet April 3 and then resume after Pesach in the Arcola Social Hall, 6:00-6:45am Tuesdays & Fridays. The shiur covers Gemara, Rashi, and Tosfos with a look at practical Halachic conclusions drawn from the Sugyos. For information contact Aaron Branda at ambranda@gmail.com or Rabbi Rosenbaum.

Rabbi Rosenbaum's Wednesday morning shiur in Tehillim will resume after Pesach.

Rabbi Moshe Arzouan's advanced Gemara shiur for men will resume Wednesday, April 25.

Rabbi Rosenbaum's Chumash shiur for women Wednesday nights will resume after Pesach. Yesodei Hatorah will resume after Pesach.

Linas Hatzedek will resume after Pesach.

Beis Medrash Zichron Gedaliah- 8-9pm Tuesday, small side Arcola Social Hall. A joint program of YISE/Kollel Zichron Amram. The program offers shiurim in beginners and advanced gemara, and also in Machshava (currently learning Chovos Halevavos).Also, one on one chavrusas are available and can be arranged for those who are interested. The sessions between now and Pesach will focus on the Pesach Haggadah with the commentary of the "Maaseh Nissim."

Gentlemen: Please clean out your Talis Box before Pesach!

Please watch your children – The number of children wandering the Shul on Shabbos without adult supervision appears to be growing. Wallpaper has been stripped off walls and wheelchairs damaged by children on their own. Please encourage your child(ren) to take care of the Shul as if it were their home.
