The Exterior Renovation is Nearly Done – Next Phase Projects Have Begun!

As you read this, almost every piece of scaffolding is gone. A few small pieces of the exterior renovation project remain to be completed over the next week. And that leads us to the next phases of improving the YISE physical plant.

By the end of August the door frame and doors between the Social Hall and downstairs lobby will be repaired, and the doors to the Belonofsky Sanctuary surveyed to determine what repairs are needed.

In front of the building, along Arcola, the old asphalt parking lot has been removed and replaced with dirt, properly graded to avoid flooding the Belonofsky Sanctuary, and covered with grass seed. Additional drains will also be added in the coming weeks to further control run-off.

As you enjoy the improved look of the Shul building, please do your part to help fund the improvements. Just send your check to the Shul marked "Renovation."

YISE will be selling Arba Minim this year – details to follow next week.
