CONDOLENCES TO:

Lawrence Korb and family on the passing of his mother, Minnie Korb. The memorial service took place at YISE. Burial was at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Adelphi, MD. Shiva was observed last week.

Bernard Muller and family on the passing of his mother, Elizabeth Muller. The funeral took place in New York. Shiva was observed in New York and Silver Spring, and will be completed in Jerusalem.

YISE YOUTH ANNOUNCEMENTS

The Youth Minyan will meet this Shabbos at 9:15am in the small Social Hall.

The Youth Minyan Shabbos Chanukah Kiddush is sponsored by the Youth Minyan supporters in honor of our outstanding youth.

YISE Shabbos groups 2 – 5 year-olds meet in the youth room behind the balcony; Girls 1st – 4th grade meet in the Small Beis Medrash; Boys 1st – 4th grade gather outside the Social Hall and walk over to the Yeshiva. Groups are from 10am – 11:15am. Please pick your child(ren) up promptly.

The YISE Annual Chanukah Party Celebration is Sunday, Dec. 25, 10am – 2pm. Activities for Preschool and young elementary ages includes: Cool arts and crafts! Special projects! Doughnut decorating! YISE Sisterhood Presents: "First Step to a Healthier 2012" Ladies, would you like to make eating better a priority for 2012, but you just don't know where to start? Start off 2012 the right way! YISE Sisterhood is hosting an informative and fun presentation by Jennifer Reilly, Registered Dietician and author of Cooking with Trader Joe's Cookbook: Skinny Dish!, Motzai Shabbos, Jan. 7 at YISE Arcola, beginning at 8pm. Ms. Reilly will guide you through a discussion of healthy eating, prepare easy-to-make healthy dishes right before your eyes, and answer your nutrition questions.
