Save the Date: Women's Seudah Shlishit – August 4

Ladies, join us for the YISE Sisterhood-sponsored Summer Women‘s Seudah Shlishit on Shabbos Nachamu afternoon, August 4, 5pm-7pm, in the YISE Arcola Social Hall. The theme of the seudah is "Summer Fun." Attendees will enjoy pareve summery fare while meeting and mingling with other women from the community. A summer-themed Dvar Torah by Rene Isser will follow. Summer desserts and drinks will conclude the program. All women are welcome and encouraged to attend! (We respectfully request no children under the age of 12 years old.) Sponsorships are welcome at $18 (or more). Checks, which should be made out to YISE Sisterhood, should be sent to Hedy Bauman, Sisterhood Treasurer, 1131 University Blvd. W. #610, Silver Spring, MD 20902.

The High Holiday forms were mailed out last week.

You can fill out your forms and bring them to the Shul this Sunday morning between 10am and 12 noon. Members of the Committee will be in the downstairs lobby to assist with the forms, answer your questions and accept the completed forms. Remember, the deadline for High Holiday forms is Thursday, July 26.

WEEKDAY SHIURIM

Rabbi Rosenbaum's mussar (spiritual self-improvement) study group for women, based on "Alei Shur" by Rav Wolbe, meets Sundays at 9:30am.

Rabbi Rosenbaum's Mishna Brurah shiur for men takes place Sundays, 8:30pm, at his home. For more information contact jobstfeld@yise.org.

DEMOLITION/CONSTRUCTION CONTINUES

Reminder: The scaffolding now reaches to the patio area. Please caution your children against climbing on it! Please don't let your children roam unsupervised during this project. Please stay away from areas marked with yellow CAUTION tape.
