- Assure that all food served at Synagogue functions has the proper hasgoha and that all requirements for preserving its Kashrut are met.
- Assure that persons or caterers serving food are approved by the Rabbi to use the facilities of the Synagogoue.
- Provide training of volunteers and/or paid help with regard to Kashrut and the specific use of the Synagogue's facilities.
- Recruit and train volunteers to work in the kitchen and/or to serve food.
- Scheduling and planning of kiddushes.
